MBF America is the largest franchisee platform in the Mayweather Boxing + Fitness system. Founded by David Ilan Weis, Greg Willsey and Adam Scott, the company currently owns and operates the MBF studios in Culver City, Redondo Beach and Santa Barbara, California as well as North Brunswick, New Jersey. We own the rights to open an additional 30+ MBF studios across the country. Next steps include Brentwood, West Hollywood and Santa Monica followed by prime locations in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles and the Bay Area of San Francisco.

DAVID ILAN WEIS
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
“DW” grew up in Boston and attended Cornell, Harvard and Columbia universities. He co-founded one of the largest health club chains in the Boston area in 1989, established the first health-club based charitable foundation in the industry; “invented” CardioBoxing, and helped pioneer HIIT, MMA and martial arts concepts. He was also a Registered Investment Advisor, restaurant owner, and real estate developer. He studied traditional Japanese martial arts and achieved the rank of Sandan, or 3rd-degree black belt. In his free time, he volunteers as a youth sports coach and Emergency Medical Technician. He founded and serves as chair of an LA County charity assisting the families of law enforcement officers killed or gravely injured in the line of duty. David served for decades on the national boards of several prominent nonprofit and civil rights organizations including the Anti-Defamation League, American Jewish World Service and Jewish Funders Network.

GREG WILLSEY
Co-Founder
Greg grew up in Wethersfield, CT and has played sports his entire life. Early on that included soccer, baseball, basketball and tennis. Now that includes hiking and mountain climbing, beach volleyball, yoga, skiing and tennis. And attending one of our MBF gym studios at least once a week, which he genuinely believes is the best workout you can get in an hour-long class. Greg is a graduate of Wake Forest, Harvard Law School, and Harvard Business School. He is the Founder & CEO of Venice Brands, a privately held company whose mission is to create and scale category leading brands that focus on health, wellness and sustainability. He has created and continues to oversee multiple consumer-branded companies, including Joolies, Desert Valley Date, KinderFarms, Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, Enroot, Only Skin, MBF America and Bread Head.

ADAM SCOTT
Co-Founder
Adam is a co-founder of Argyle Capital Partners, a Registered Investment Advisory firm based in Los Angeles which he manages with his business partner, Josh Rudoy. Adam grew up in a small town in Connecticut, where he attended middle school and high school with Greg Willsey—the first person to hit a home run off his pitching in Little League. Adam and Greg both ended up in Southern California via different paths but have continued their friendship in business.
Adam is a graduate of Tufts University in Boston where he studied Mechanical Engineering and Finance, captained the Men’s Varsity Tennis Team, and served on the Senior Leadership Committee. Today, Adam lives on the west side of Los Angeles and is still avid tennis player, skier (not in Los Angeles), and donates time and resources to causes that support underprivileged youths.

MATTHEW WISEMAN
Regional Manager
Matthew grew up in Albuquerque New Mexico, where he gained a love for the mountains and sports, mainly football and basketball. He earned a degree in Business Administration after studying at the University of NM and finishing at Buxton & Leeds. He later studied organizational leadership at Harvard Business School’s online program. His entire career has been devoted to fitness and wellness, starting with 24 Hour Fitness and then moving to XSport where he rose through the ranks over his seven years there in the Chicagoland area to become General Manager, overseeing nine locations and 200 staff members.
In 2012, Matthew became the first Orangetheory employee in the state of California and eventually managed 44 locations with over 400 employees. He was named OTF’s National Regional Manager six years in a row and ended up owning two locations. He and his wife Adrianna make their home in Woodland Hills which they share with their family cat. They enjoy travel, golf and relaxing at the beach.

MADDY GRIFFIN
Studio Manager, Culver City
Maddy is a Los Angeles native with a huge passion for all things fitness. She loves to do it all, strength, HIIT, yoga, hiking, dancing, anything that makes her body and mind feel good. She has played many different roles in the fitness industry, and studied at Santa Monica College and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She is a Certified Personal Trainer with lots of experience as both a head trainer and a sales expert. She most recently worked as Head Coach and Sales Manager at Stride, an Exponential brand, and is SUPER excited to be a part of the Mayweather family.

BRANDON BROWN
Studio Manager, Santa Barbara
Brandon hails from the small town of Grinley, California and comes from a long line of rice farmers. He earned a degree in Communications from Cal State San Marcos and brings 20 years of experience and talent to the SantaB studio. Brandon has built and run businesses as far away as Guam, Central America and the Czech Republic and is well-versed in sales, team building, coaching, management and marketing. In terms of athletics, he’s a former tennis pro, basketball coach, lifeguard, sailing and windsurfing instructor. Management-wise, he’s run a bike rental company, an events management firm, a transportation outfit, a charter operation and an e-commerce startup. In terms of sales experience, he was one of top salesmen in the nation for Kenneth Cole. He’s an entrepreneur at heart and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment. A true team player, Brandon believes in leadership by example and loves to get his hands dirty. In his off time, he works on his boat, takes long bike rides and hits the heavy bag.

LOROINE MCKNIGHT
Studio Manager, North Brunswick
Loroine is a long-time Jersey man having grown up in the area and attending St. Peter’s University, where he earned a degree in business management and played football. He’s also studying for his executive MBA. Loroine spent 17 years in sales and management at Verizon, finishing his career there as an Associate Director in the Enterprise, Business and Government department before leaving the corporate world and venturing into boutique fitness where he owned and operated his own 9Round Fitness studio. Loroine lives in Piscataway with his wife and two (very) young children, ages two and three. In his spare time he coaches at the local high school.

KARLA RAYA
Studio Manager, Redondo Beach
Karla is a veteran of several fitness outfits including F45 and Orange Theory, and also worked at Blink Fitness, Planet and Tonal. She loves strength training and boxed as a kid, so MB+F is truly the perfect fit for this native Spanish speaker. In her free time you can find her hanging out at coffee shops, going to Disney, and checking out the newest horror movie. She and her BF adore their French Bulldog and Doberman. Karla earned an Associate’s degree at Cerritos College in Norwalk.
